Jon Kane, CSCS

Born and raised in Wisconsin, Jon recently left the frozen tundra for warmer days in North Carolina. After graduating with a degree in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, he began his first career in corporate IT where he worked for almost 18 years before stepping away in 2021. In fact, Jon had started working with a personal trainer himself a few years prior, with the hopes of resolving some recurring injuries that began popping up after years of sports and high-intensity exercise. The experience of working with a highly-qualified trainer subsequently planted the seed for what would become his next mission: helping other people regain control of their health and fitness the same way he was helped.

Jon began his new journey with a 3-month mentorship program under a high-level trainer & gym owner in the area, and was subsequently offered a trainer position afterwards. This opportunity allowed him extensive experience working with a wide range of clients, from high school age to retirees. He thrives on working with individuals who are new to exercise, dealing with recurring injuries or movement limitations, as well as clients who are simply looking for guidance & accountability.

Jon takes a very strategic and purposeful approach to designing workout programs, which will be customized for you based on your goals and personal circumstances. He wants you to understand the “why” behind your exercise program, while also helping you feel comfortable and confident around the gym. Plus, having spent many years in a corporate career, he understands the challenges in balancing work, life and fitness.
