Jessica began training in 2009 at a health club in a hospital setting in Tulsa, OK. She was fortunate to start her training career with a diverse group ranging from cardiac rehab patients to triathletes. After graduation, she moved back home to Los Angeles, CA, and started her private training business in 2010. Jessica had the privilege of working with various fitness levels, including individuals new to exercise, young teens, special populations, professional athletes, and avid gymgoers.
Over the following thirteen years, as she grew her training business, Jessica followed her passion for the human body and gained experience and knowledge, in professional and academic settings, in physical therapy, traditional Eastern medicine, and clinical psychology. She enjoys having a holistic and educational approach with all her clients as she measures her success as a trainer by her clients’ increased fitness abilities, heightened levels of self-awareness in movement, confidence in exercise, and increased knowledge of how to care for their bodies. Jessica believes that exercise is a journey of self-discovery and that every training session is an opportunity to learn more about one’s current health status, physical and mental weaknesses and strengths, and to cultivate a healthier relationship with one’s body.
Jessica meets each individual where they are and teaches efficient movement patterns that translate into smoother, stronger, and more confident movements in everyday life. She is a stickler on form and will promote quality over quantity at every session. She enjoys helping her clients work towards fitness adaptations whether they are interested in training for aesthetic or functional reasons.
Jessica moved from LA to Cary in November 2023 and is excited to share her experience, knowledge, and expertise with her new fitness community in NC!
“We must move to live. The quality of our movement and our ability to move fluidly through our physical and conceptual spaces determine the quality of our lives.” – Jessica Lee
